
Georgianne Landy-Kordis studied screenwriting and directing at the University of Oklahoma. She has written, directed and produced promotional scripts as well as worked as a videographer through her own company, FIA/Films by Independent Artists, Inc. She is inspired to write human interest stories and offer emotional insight.
Her first book "And I thought I'd be a nun" is her memoir. She has since written and published "Bass Reeves-Lawman" a screenplay about one of the first black men appointed to tame what was Indian Territory in the 1800's. Also she has completed "A Kindled Affair" also a screenplay. A love story set in the forties about a woman who feels unworthy of love as a man tries to convince her that love is for everyone. "Stagecoach Mary Fields" another screenplay, out in book form. After emancipation a slave finds it difficult to remain close to her white childhood friend and struggles with different jobs to live out her life. She becomes the first black woman to work for the U.S Postal Service in the 1800's while in her 60's.
She has most recently worked with Traverse Media in L.A. on a project.
