In the past people have always felt good around me, safe, sort of I guess. Some have expressed this to me and some have even actually moved to live close to me, they felt that “safe” around me. So the other night I had a couple of dreams that were quite disturbing and eye opening if my interpretation is somewhat correct. Mind you, I in no way know how to interpret dreams; my BFF does that for me occasionally as well the visions I have now and then.
So the first dream was of several people standing in front of a bonfire. This group was farther off from my group of people. All of a sudden one of the people from the bonfire area came running toward us completely engulfed in flames. I mean completely. Their arms outstretched, running toward their blankets lying on the ground. Then another came running the same, completely engulfed, armed outstretched. Someone from my group started toward them to help. I almost did but didn’t. All I could think of was that I couldn’t see any flesh, just flames of fire on these poor people as the rest of their group came running up in the same horrible state. One tried to put a blanket around their self and I wondered why they hadn’t rolled on the ground. No one could get close to them and I surely didn’t even try and I thought they’d be better off dead with their bodies burned so badly. Then I awoke.
My second dream, here again dealt with some kind of fire. A large group of people in a building like a garage were listening to a gentleman speak, about what, I don’t know, when all of a sudden a man jumped into a car that was sandwiched between two others and he tried to get a small framed man in the car with him, like he needed him to start the car or a hostage. But he didn’t because he had started it and the little guy refused and jerked away. The man in the car tried to maneuver the car around and ended up only able to go backwards. A man announced what was happening! The car was full of fuel and that the man in the car was intending to back it into the electrical “something” on the back wall and the whole place would explode and catch on fire!
I wanted to get out of there before that happened of course. I saw a door to escape from and ran to it. I yelled out once, “Come on people!” But it seemed like no one heard me and I didn’t wait to urge them again. I escaped alone and woke up.
In both dreams I was not dressed properly either. I had pajamas on with none of the extra garments underneath so especially in the second dream I needed to find a jacket from one of the rooms I escaped into before I made it outside.
Now as to my interpretation and it may have something to do with me having another birthday next month and really getting up there; is that…well at one time I might have been a hero or acted like one. And at some time in my life for many years I thought I could save the world or at least try to do something good. And for most of my life my family counted on me for security and I did take care of them the best I could. But these dreams made me wonder what they were telling me. I think what they are saying is that I’m too old to care about helping or changing the world or anyone anymore and I’m okay with that now and if that sounds selfish well I’m just going to have to be okay with that also.
